Balance Transfer lets you send USD wallet funds directly to another person — instantly if they're already registered on Xchange4Me, or via a secure invite if they're not yet a member.

1. Who can I send a transfer to?
You can send a balance transfer to anyone whether or not they have an Xchange4Me account.
- Registered users — enter their email address or phone number linked to their Xchange4Me account. The funds are credited to their wallet instantly.
- Non-registered users — enter their email address or phone number. We'll hold your funds securely and send them an invitation to join. The moment they create their account, the balance is credited automatically.
2. How do I send a transfer?
1. Log in to your Xchange4Me account.
2. Go to Wallet → Transfer Balance from your dashboard.
3. Enter the recipient's email address or phone number.
4. Enter the amount in USD you want to send.
5. Add an optional note (e.g. "Payment for Goods").
6. Click Send Transfer and confirm.
That's it. The transfer is processed immediately.
3. What happens if the recipient is not yet registered?
No problem. Here's what happens step by step:
1. Your funds are held securely in a pending pool — they are deducted from your wallet immediately so no double-spend can occur.
2. The recipient receives an email invitation with a link to register on Xchange4Me.
3. The moment they complete registration using the same email or phone number you entered, the balance is automatically credited to their new wallet — no extra steps needed.
4. If the recipient does not register within 7 days, the transfer expires and the full amount (including any fee) is refunded back to your wallet automatically. You will receive an email notification when this happens.
4. How long does the recipient have to claim the funds?
7 days from the time you send the transfer. After 7 days with no registration, the funds are returned to you in full.
5. Is there a fee for sending a transfer?
A small transfer fee may apply depending on the current platform settings. The fee is charged to the sender — the recipient always receives the full amount you intend to send.
Before you confirm a transfer, the form will show you a clear breakdown:
- Amount you're sending
- Fee charged
- Total deducted from your wallet
There are no hidden charges.
6. What currencies can I transfer?
Balance transfers currently support USD wallet funds only. If you have funds in your wallet from a completed exchange, those are the funds available to transfer.
7. Can I transfer to myself?
No. The platform will not allow you to send a transfer to your own email address or phone number.
8. Can I cancel a pending transfer?
Once a transfer is sent, it cannot be manually cancelled. However, if the recipient does not register within 7 days, the transfer expires automatically and your funds are refunded in full.
9. Will I be notified about my transfer?
Yes. You will receive an email notification at every key stage:

10. Where can I see my transfer history?
Go to Wallet → Transfer Balance on your dashboard. You'll see a full history of all transfers you've sent, including the status of each one — Completed, Pending, Claimed, Expired, or Refunded.
You can tap any transfer to view its full details, including whether an invite was sent and when.
11. What does each transfer status mean?

| Claimed | Recipient registered and funds have been credited to their wallet. |

12. Is my money safe while it's pending?
Yes. Pending funds are held securely on the platform and cannot be touched by anyone — not the intended recipient, not any third party. The only two outcomes are: the recipient registers and receives the funds, or the 7-day window closes and the funds are returned to you.
